VS 2005

Wolfenstein ET

Latest build: 16-5-2005

download ProcessChecker.exe (right click and choose save as)

The main reason of writing this tool was because on a regular bases, the number of open windows became well.... uhm... large. When searching for something I tend to leave open a lot of 'maybe' results while continuing the search. Having open 10 internet explorers is no exceptions. Now I leave this tool running and use it to close all 10 in one go.

The 2nd use of this tool is quite the opposite: keep at least one instance of a process running. Especially useful for monitoring batch processes that must keep running. For the selected applications, the tool starts a new instance If no more processes of the chosen application are running. You can easily test this with notepad if you like ;-)
