While posting my previous entry today I went to Victor Shatochin's blog again and found fresh info recently released Shareware Starter Kit:
The Shareware Starter Kit (SSK) enables you to integrate important shareware management features into most .NET applications. By providing highly customizable source code for client and server components, the SSK can be tailored to meet your specific needs. Including the provided classes and forms in your application will provide you the following functionality:
- Buy Now Web Service
- Activate Now Web Service
- Product Registration Web Service
- Product Feedback Web Service
- Exception Handling Web Service
- Multi-Threaded Splash Screen

Now that is so cool! It is like all Shareware developers dream come true. And it's free too!
I haven't tried the starter kit yet but I sure will. Although I already have own implementation for most of the starter kit features - product registration, feedback and exception handling/reporting web service as well as multi-threaded splash screen but I'm curious to learn this particular implementation.
If you compare my list and the SSK one you will find the SSK hits the nail right on the head!

Googling for more info on SSK returned this post on Dan Fernandez's Blog with detailed information, download links for both VB and C#, and lots of screenshots
