Note: Currently .TEXT does not support updating posts via MetaBlog API. You can only add new posts using descktop client. To edit existing posts you will need to use your Blog Admin panel.

Important: In this article we will assume that your blog name (username) is myblog - you should use your actual blog name wherever myblog is refenced.

1. Download BlogJet from http://www.blogjet.com and install it
2. Run BlogJet
3. Select “I already have a blog” and click Next
   
   
   
   
4. Enter connection settings
   
   Provider: .Text
   
   Host: blogs.vbcity.com
   Page: /myblog/services/metablogapi.aspx
   
   
   
   
5. Enter your UserName and Password
   
   
   
   
6. Configure FTP connection.
   
   If you want to be able to blog with pictures and/or attachments you will need to setup FTP account access parameters. Again, we will use myblog as your account name and you should use the user name and password you received in the email.
    
   FTP Server: blogs.vbcity.com
   Remote Folder: /myblog
   Base URL: http://blogs.vbcity.com/upload/myblog/
   Username: myblog
   Password: mypassword
   
   
   
   BlogJet will automatically upload your images/attahments when you publish your post.
   
   
7. Last step - enter your Account Title and Blog page address
   
   Account Title: My Blog (or whatever you want it to be)
   Blog Address: http://blogs.vbcity.com/myblog/
