Axosoft OnTime 2004 is a defect tacking and feature management tool for software developers. The single user version is available for free!

Thought it was worth mentioning that I have upgraded my version of Axosoft OnTime from 4.0 to 4.2. v4.2 has been out for almost a month or so and I downloaded it a couple of weeks ago but have only just got around to upgrading. The upgrade went fine. It required an update of the database which took just a few seconds. There was nothing immediately obvious about what the upgrade had done. The user interface still looked exactly the same.

I use OnTime to manage my own personal projects and have found it to be a useful tool. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll get around to writing up a full review of this excellent tool.

The Colombo .NET User Group first met in July 2004 and we're very proud that for only our 4th meeting we have Yuri Misnik, a Developer Evangelist from Microsoft speaking to us. We are meeting at 18:00 at the Taj Samudra Crystal Ballroom (Opposite Galle Face Green) Entrance is free. Our thanks go out to Microsoft for sponsoring this event.

A big thankyou must go out to Merill Fernando for his enthusiasm and organisational skills in getting this off the ground. And Merill has also just been made an MVP. Well done Merill !

If you fancy coming along we usually meet on the first Wednesday of every month (it changed this month to Tuesday to allow us to accomodate Yuri). The venue may vary but is usually at Gateway in Borella.
