I just noticed that I made my 5000th post at vbCity :-D I'm not even going to calculate how many posts a day that is since I joined - I'll leave that to the vbCity statisitan, Lazyjay ;-). Anyway, for the record, post 5000 was a question, Using Splitter Bars - Resizing Controls.
Just thought I'd say a big thankyou for everyone at vbCity, both those posting questions and those answering them. I've really enjoyed my time at vbCity and never thought I'd ever submit more than the odd post when I first joined in January 2002. Since then I've won HOTM, become and stayed a moderator, won the .NET Fella award, submitted the occasional article to the newsletter, and been given a Microsoft MVP award for my work at vbCity.
When I first joined a knew a reasonable amount of VB.Classic and practically nothing about .NET but my knowledge increased very rapidly in both areas by researching answers to questions when at first I didn't know the answer either and just reading the posts with answers from other posters. I don't even program for a living any more and yet I'm still posting.
Anyway roll on post number 10,000 ;-)
