Well, the new car we bought on Saturday died yesterday. Lez took the message from the garage so I need to check the details but I think the timing belt has gone and the cam belt causing extensive damage to the engine. Under the Sale of Good Act the garage have to refund me my money but surprise surprise, they are refusing to do so. The local Trading Standards office have given me advice and a template letter to send to the garage but it looks like I might have to sue them to get my money back.
