The
Campaign for an English Parliament newsblog has regretably stopped accepting comments from the public after a few incidents where some Scottish visitors got into a slanging match with some English people. Unsurprisingly they don't have a problem with the current system where their politicians get to lord it over England and where Scotland gets a higher proportion of public spending subsidised by English taxes. Let's hope that Gareth gets it back up and running soon and in the meantime, if there are any burning issues related to English nationalism or the
Campaign for an English Parliament that anyone wants to discuss, just drop me a line and I'll gladly start a discussion about it.

A bit late posting this update but Inot a lot to tell anyway. I'm still the same weight. Since I've started I've lost 1.5 stone (9.54kg) and gone down a trouser size which is 2 inches (5cm) off my waist.
Today is the day of the wedding between Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles. There's a lot of sniping about, led by the gutter press, because people are still so hooked up on Princess Diana. I won't go into a pointless rant about Diana, she wasn't my favourite royal. Nobody knows much about Camilla so I'll reserve judgement until I see what she's like but at the end of the day if they're happy together then that's fine by me.
On a related note, I've heard the Charles and Camilla will be going to the grand National after the wedding. Apparently Camilla is 14/1 to win.
