Just watching tonight's Hells Kitchen and Gery Rhodes is talking about the show being England versus France. Guess which flag they fade into the background while he's saying this? You've got it - the bloody Union Flag. Considering most of the ITV franchise is England and so are most of their viewers, you'd think they would be able to tell the difference between England and the United Kingdom. What is it with these people? They've obviously been taking lessons from
Tour of Britain.
Ok, lets have a bit of fun. The Tour of Britain is a bit of an emotive subject at the moment amongst pro-English campaigners because of their choice to leave out an English team but still have a Scottish, Welsh and Irish team. English riders have to compete as Team Great Britain. Lets have a liittle Googlebomb to get
Tour of Britain pointing to
this blog entry. It's already pretty high up in the Google rankings but I reckon we can have it at the #1 spot within a week and send clear message to the people at
Tour of Britain.
Interesting article in the Shropshire Star tonight ...
Welsh to scrap test for grant
Grants to help families who need to adapt their homes for disabled children will no longer be means tested in Wales it was announced today prompting calls form charities for the policy to be extended to England. Welsh social justice minister Edwina Hart said today "Families could apply for disabled facilites grants to cover up to 100% of the costs of adaptions regardless of their income."
Yeah, what are odds of that happening eh?
Pro-English campaigner
Alfred the Great is standing for election in the forthcoming election. Good luck Alfred, if you get in give 'em hell.
