A Telford policeman who was caught speeding in his new police car at speeds up to 159mph on the motorway and around 100mph actually in the town has been cleared of speeding and dangerous driving charges. He claims he was trying out the car to get used to it as it was a different one to what he normally drives. He got caught because the onboard camera came on when he went over a bump.
Rewind a minute ... he was cleared of speeding. He was doing 159mph! If I ever get stopped for speeding I will certainly be going to court over it to ask why a policeman can get cleared of speeding at 159mph but a normal driver can get a ticket for doing a few mph over the limit. Talk about double standards.

As yet, the UCI have failed to reply to my emails or any others that have been sent. Time to speak to some newspapers methinks. The fact that there is no English team is bad enough but to refuse to reply to correspondence on the subject is, quite frankly, shameful.
